Polestar has unveiled a compelling strategy for its 2025 Polestar 3 electric vehicle (EV), combining price reductions, attractive financing options, and a new tempting conquest bonus designed to lure drivers away from other brands.

Incentives Targeting Tesla and Other Brands

The most eye-catching feature of Polestar’s current offering is a $3,000 conquest bonus targeting owners of various electric and hybrid vehicles. This incentive is remarkably inclusive, extending to drivers of Tesla, Audi, BMW, General Motors, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche vehicles—both electric and traditional. Notably, the bonus does not require trading in an existing vehicle and can be transferred among household members.

Moreover, Polestar is making the Polestar 3 more accessible with flexible financing and leasing options. For the first time, the model is available with 0% APR financing for 60 months, effectively saving buyers up to $15,000 on an $80,000 vehicle before taxes and fees.

Additionally, lease pricing for the Long Range Dual Motor model has been significantly reduced, with monthly payments dropping from $699 to $599—a $102 savings—thanks to a dramatic reduction in the lease rate from 2.83% to just 0.57%.

Potential buyers can stack multiple incentives. For instance, when leasing, the $3,000 conquest bonus can be combined with $7,500 in lease cash, potentially resulting in $10,500 in total savings. An additional Costco Auto promotion could push total savings even higher, potentially reaching $12,500.

Breakthrough Pricing and Performance

Polestar has introduced its most affordable 3 model yet, a Long Range Single Motor variant that starts at $67,500. This represents a significant $6,400 reduction from previous models, making the luxury electric SUV more accessible to price-conscious consumers. Moreover, the EV delivers a robust 295 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. The electric SUV can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds and contains an EPA-estimated range of up to 350 miles.

Key Details for Potential Buyers

From December 3, 2024, to January 2, 2025, U.S. residents with a valid driver’s license can take advantage of Polestar’s exclusive offers. Furthermore, eligible buyers can receive a $3,000 Conquest Bonus if they own a qualifying vehicle, while current Polestar customers can claim a $3,000 loyalty discount instead.

As the EV market accelerates forward, Polestar’s aggressive pricing and incentive strategy demonstrates a clear intent to disrupt the luxury EV segment and attract a broader range of environmentally conscious consumers.
