Lucid Motors turned the spotlight toward its new Lucid Gravity during Berlin’s International Film Festival, staging a multisensory performance dubbed “Seven Suite” at the Tempodrom. The event blended orchestral and electronic soundscapes with immersive lighting, positioning the Gravity not just as an EV, but as an emotional design statement.

Gravity becomes centerpiece of immersive Berlin showcase

Held inside the circular Tempodrom venue, the performance featured seven Gravity SUVs arranged in formation beneath a glowing central installation. Each vehicle’s front trunk was opened to reveal built-in seating, placing invited actors and directors close to the live orchestral performance.

Composer Uèle Lamore led the production, reshaping elements of her forthcoming album to reflect what she described as the feeling of entering the Gravity, according to Hypebeast. “We wanted to bring the idea of nature into organic music elements, something of which the brand tries to incorporate into the car,” she said.

Lamore structured the program into seven stages, representing themes she associates with beauty in the natural world. “I created seven different stages in a tableau that ultimately represent the different things about the world that I find beautiful. I hope it makes people feel good, too.”

Lighting and sound were synchronized to mirror the dynamics of the SUV’s 22-speaker Surreal Sound Pro system with Dolby Atmos, reinforcing the connection between performance and product.

The Berlin activation reflects Lucid’s broader approach to branding the Gravity as more than a traditional seven-seat SUV. Guests were later invited to explore the Grand Touring variant up close, with the showcase emphasizing craftsmanship, cabin acoustics, and design flow.

By aligning the vehicle with film culture and experimental music, Lucid is extending its premium positioning beyond technical specifications and into lifestyle territory. The event underscored how automakers are increasingly using immersive experiences to differentiate in a competitive EV market.
