The vehicle introduces a combination of range, performance, and interior luxury features, with the company targeting up to 300 miles of driving range on select versions.

Lexus unveiled its first three-row all-electric SUV, the Lexus TZ, expanding its EV lineup with a new model set to go on sale in the United States at the end of 2026.
The vehicle introduces a combination of range, performance, and interior luxury features, with the company targeting up to 300 miles of driving range on select versions.
The Lexus TZ will offer two lithium-ion battery options, 76.96 kWh and 95.82 kWh, and comes standard with All Wheel Drive. The SUV is designed to balance comfort and driving performance, with Lexus stating it is “the brand’s first three-row, all-electric, AWD SUV.”
According to Lexus’ press release, Performance and capability details include up to 420 horsepower, a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.1 seconds, and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. The vehicle also features a 150 kW peak charging speed and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes.
Additional engineering highlights include a 0.27 drag coefficient, five levels of regenerative braking adjustable via paddle shifters, and available Dynamic Rear Steering that can steer rear wheels up to 4 degrees to improve handling.

Lexus emphasized cabin comfort and design as a central theme. The company said the TZ delivers “the quietest cabin among Lexus SUVs,” using sound-absorbing materials and aerodynamic design to reduce noise.
Interior features include second row captain’s chairs, ventilated front passenger and second row seats with power ottomans, heated seats in all rows, and one-touch folding second and third row seats. The SUV also includes a panoramic roof, six Japanese-inspired ambient lighting themes, and a 21-speaker audio system.
The cabin incorporates sustainable materials such as forged bamboo sourced from Shikoku Island. Lexus described this as part of its “sustainable craftsmanship with details like Forged Bamboo interior surfaces.”
Technology features include a full-screen navigation display in the digital gauge cluster, an updated multimedia system, and advanced driver assist features through Lexus Safety System Plus 4.0. The vehicle does not offer full self-driving capability.
The Lexus TZ will also include a North American Charging Standard port and a “2-in-1 charging port” with AC and DC connectors placed side by side for convenience. Pricing has not yet been announced.
