Kia EV9 Awarded “2024 Electric Vehicle of Texas” By Texas Auto Writers Association

In the realm of award-winning electric vehicles (EVs), the Kia EV9 has racked up plenty as it has impressed the entire EV industry repeatedly. Now, the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) has awarded the Kia EV9, the prestigious title of “Electric Vehicle of Texas” at the 2024 TAWA Auto Roundup. 

The 2024 TAWA Auto Roundup was held in Irvine, California on May 20, where 20 automotive journalists from across the United States (U.S.) underwent a two-day evaluation of the nominated trucks, SUVs, and CUVs. The assessment includes performance, design, and everyday usability. As a result, the Kia EV9 stole the show by winning yet another award in 2024.  

The Kia EV9 winning the award of “Electric Vehicle of Texas” at the 2024 TAWA Auto Roundup is another accomplishment that makes this EV model stand out even more. Notably, it also won the Performance SUV, Mid-size CUV, and Electric Vehicle categories at the 2024 TAWA Auto Roundup. 

Previously, the Kia EV9 won 2024 World Car of the Year and 2024 World Electric Car at the New York International Auto Show. Furthermore, it also won ‘Best of the Best’ award in the Cars and Motorcycles category at the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024.
