A Ford spokesperson confirmed that the pricing adjustments come without cuts to standard equipment.

Ford is trimming prices on the 2026 F-150 Lightning lineup by as much as $4,000, but the real-world savings may not be as big as they seem.
According to the Lightning’s latest order guide, the Flash trim gets the steepest discount, dropping $4,000 to $65,995, while the Lariat receives a $2,000 price cut to $74,995. Entry-level pricing now starts at $63,345 for the new STX trim, which replaces the XLT grade.
A Ford spokesperson confirmed that the pricing adjustments come without cuts to standard equipment. The top-end Platinum trim remains at $84,995, while all configurations continue to include all-wheel drive, according to a report from CarsDirect.
On paper, the Flash’s 5.7% drop and the Lariat’s 2.6% drop should help boost the truck’s appeal, especially as competition in the electric pickup segment heats up. Ford’s pricing strategy follows similar moves from rivals, as automakers adjust to shifting EV incentives and demand patterns.

But despite lower sticker prices, many buyers may still find the 2025 Lightning a better financial choice. That’s because the 2026 model lost access to the $7,500 federal EV tax credit on October 1, while the 2025 model remains eligible for significant lease incentives.
For example, the outgoing XLT carries up to $11,500 in combined incentives, including $9,000 in lease cash and a $2,000 charging credit. That means a 2025 Lariat could effectively cost around $6,500 less than its 2026 equivalent, depending on financing terms. Ford hasn’t announced 2026 incentives yet, leaving open questions about how the new pricing will play out at the dealership level.
