From $5,000 In Bonuses To Free Home Chargers, Ford’s Year-End Push Aims To Boost EV Sales To Close Out 2024

Ford is making a strong push to close out 2024 with an aggressive year-end sales event for its electric vehicle (EV) lineup, offering a combination of financial incentives and charging infrastructure support to attract new buyers.
In detail, the company has launched a comprehensive incentive package that includes 0% financing for 72 months and $5,000 in Bonus Cash on its popular electric models, the F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E. Adding to these financial incentives, Ford is including a free home charging station and covering standard installation costs for new EV buyers.
The promotion builds upon Ford’s recently introduced “Power Promise” program, launched on October 1, which aims to demonstrate the practical benefits of EV ownership. The program includes a complimentary Level 2 home charger, free installation, 24/7 live support, and an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty.
Ford’s EV sales have shown strong momentum in 2024, with nearly 74,000 units sold through October, representing a 38% increase from 2023. The Mustang Mach-E, with almost 39,000 units sold, maintains its position as the second best-selling electric SUV in the U.S., while the F-150 Lightning holds the second spot in the electric pickup segment, trailing only the Tesla Cybertruck.
The company has also expanded its EV support network to include nearly 3,000 dealers across the United States (U.S.), ensuring widespread service availability for new EV customers.
In a parallel initiative, Ford Pro is extending similar charging incentives to government fleet customers. State and local government purchasers can receive a free EV charger valued at up to $1,599 when buying an E-Transit, Mustang Mach-E, or F-150 Lightning.
With the combination of financial incentives, charging infrastructure support, and an expanding dealer network, Ford is making the transition to EVs more accessible and attractive for both retail and fleet customers.
