The Q6: New Electrified Performance and Added Control

Measured around 187 inches long, the Q6 is packed with exciting features delivering an estimated range of 300 miles on a single charge. It also has 456 horsepower and hits 60 mph in approximately five seconds. When it needs to recharge, it only requires a battery charging time of 22 minutes from 10% to 80% battery state with a DC fast-charging speed of 270 kW. In addition, this midsize premium SUV possesses a new 800-volt electrical architecture, 94.4-kWh battery, an available air suspension, and a stunning 450+ HP function by two electric motors. There will also be an entry-level model containing a single-motor rear-wheel-drive feature of the Q6 for the US market.

Equipped with Performance Platform Electric (PPE)

The Q6 E-Tron stands out from its earlier versions as it now runs on Audi’s brand-new Performance Platform Electric (PPE) platform. This platform is energy efficient, flexible, and adaptable to fit different kinds of sedans and SUVs in Audi’s lineup. Interestingly, it also comes highlighted with outstanding range, fast charging, and performance. When you are charging stations that max out at 400 volts, the PPE software will use bank charging that splits the battery into two parts and simultaneously charges them as fast as 135 kW each.
