Atlante and Groupe Duval To Equip 130 Locations With 1,200 Fast And Ultra-Fast Charging Points Across France By 2025

With electric vehicle (EV) charging expanding rapidly, Atlante, the company of NHOA Group and real estate company Groupe Duval have announced an expansion of their partnership, which aims to equip 130 locations with fast and ultra-fast charging stations, totaling 1,200 charging points across France by 2025.
This partnership expansion builds upon the initial partnership established in April 2023, which saw the installation of 188 fast-charging stations. As of now, there are around 30 charging points already operational at Groupe Duval properties, serving major retail chains including Aldi, Biogroup, L’Appart Fitness, Decathlon, Burger King, GIFI, KIABI, and Basic Fit.
The first ultra-fast charging station under this expanded partnership was inaugurated in Saint-Chamond, located in the Loire department. Strategically, this station is situated near the Hall in One shopping center and the Véo Grand-Lumière cinema, which is designed for strategic placement of these charging points at commercial and leisure locations according to NHOA Group.
Notably, the charging stations will be 24-hour accessible, compatible with all charging standards, and available on major electric mobility applications. EV owners can expect to charge up to 80% of their battery in merely a few minutes depending on the model while using 100% green energy.
Furthermore, this initiative is part of Atlante’s broader goal to develop the largest fast-charging network in Southern Europe, where it aims to install 5,000 fast and ultra-fast charging points by 2025 and over 35,000 by 2030 across Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. Currently, it operates more than 2,000 charging points in these four countries.
Stefano Terranova, CEO of Atlante, expressed enthusiasm for the shared values of innovation and sustainability with Groupe Duval stating, “By joining forces, we are offering the best charging experience to current and future EV users in France, thus accelerating the roll-out of Europe’s next great energy revolution.”
Pauline Duval, Director of Groupe Duval, underlined the environmental focus of the partnership stating, “This new service is at the heart of our core values of agility and innovation. It allows us to set up a national green charging network for electric vehicles and raise awareness among our store customers about soft mobility.”
As the EV market continues to grow, partnerships like this between charging infrastructure providers and real estate companies are becoming increasingly crucial in supporting the transition to electric mobility. As Europe sees EV charging more accessible and convenient, EV owners will be at ease while causing down the road.
