Production of the 2027 Cadillac Vistiq is scheduled to begin in mid-May 2026, according to industry sources, as General Motors prepares to transition the three-row electric SUV into its second model year.
General Motors is planning to start regular production of the 2027 Cadillac Vistiq on May 18, 2026, according to information obtained by GM Authority. Dealer order banks for the 2027 model year are expected to open earlier, on March 12, 2026.
Orders for the 2026 Vistiq are scheduled to close after the week of March 2, 2026. As with all production planning, the dates remain tentative and could change, according to GM Authority.
The 2027 Vistiq is expected to carry over largely unchanged from the 2026 launch model, with updates limited to minor adjustments in available appearance options.

GM recently raised the destination freight charge on the 2026 Vistiq from $1,695 to $1,995, a $300 increase applied across all trims. With the higher destination fee included, the Vistiq Luxury and Sport trims now start at $79,390 and $79,890, respectively.
The Premium Luxury trim is priced at $93,890, while the range-topping Platinum trim starts at $98,490. This marks the second pricing adjustment since the Vistiq debuted in late 2024.
Within Cadillac’s EV lineup, the Vistiq is positioned between the smaller Lyriq and the larger Escalade IQ, offering three-row seating without Escalade-level pricing. Standard equipment includes a 33-inch curved infotainment display spanning the dashboard and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance.
The Vistiq rides on GM’s BEV3 platform and is produced at the Spring Hill Assembly plant in Tennessee.
