The warranty options are a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, and a 10-year/100,000-mile battery warranty. Other warranty coverages also include 7 years/unlimited miles with anti-perforation and 5 years/unlimited miles with 24/7 roadside assistance. Moreover, there is also complimentary maintenance for the first three years or 36,000 miles.

In terms of the leasing deals, the KONA offers a standard lease deal of a monthly payment of $259 for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing, including a mileage allowance of 10,000 miles per year. Also the recent price cut according to CarsDirect announced the KONA Electric SE trim can be leased at the price of $169 per month for 24 months with $1,999 due at signing. Notably, the 2024 KONA Electric does not qualify for the federal EV tax credit. However, Hyundai has assured that it will give as much as $7,500 in cash bonuses.
