Volkswagen Unveils Full Pricing And Specs For 2025 ID. Buzz Starting At $59,995 In U.S.

Within the lineup of Volkswagen’s iconic Microbus, the company has announced its full pricing and specifications for the long-awaited 2025 ID. Buzz electric vehicle (EV) model in the United States (U.S.).

According to Volkswagen, the Volkswagen ID. Buzz will start at $59,995 for the base Pro S trim. This rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model will provide an EPA-estimated range of 234 miles on a single charge. Those looking for more performance can opt for the all-wheel-drive (AWD) Pro S Plus, which starts at $67,995 and has a slightly lower range of 231 miles.

At the top of the lineup is the limited-edition 1st Edition, which will start at $69,995 for the AWD version. This model arrives loaded with premium features including a panoramic electrochromic glass roof, a 700-watt Harman Kardon sound system, and unique 20-inch wheels and badging.

“The ID.Buzz is a truly unique and exciting vehicle that pays homage to Volkswagen’s iconic Microbus while bringing it fully into the electric age,” stated Klaus Bischoff, Head of Volkswagen Brand Design. “With its striking retro-futuristic styling and a host of advanced technologies, we believe it will capture the imaginations of drivers young and old.”

In addition to the powertrain and range details, Volkswagen has also revealed the full array of interior and exterior color options for the ID. Buzz. Buyers will be able to choose from three distinct interior “color worlds”: Dune, Copper, and Moonlight, which will complement an 11-strong palette of exterior hues including several two-tone schemes.

While the ID.Buzz will not qualify for the full $7,500 federal EV tax credit due to its overseas production, Volkswagen has indicated that it will offer attractive leasing deals to help offset the cost for buyers.
