VinFast is making waves in the Southeast Asian electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of its compact VF 3 electric SUV in the Philippines. Following its success in Vietnam, this marks VinFast’s first international release of the stylish mini electric SUV.

According to VinFast, the company is offering a range of enticing incentives for early adopters during a special pre-order period from September 19 to 30. The VF 3 is available at a special price of 605,000 pesos (around $31,396) with a battery subscription or 705,000 pesos (around $36,586) with the battery included. After this period, prices will increase to 645,000 pesos (around $33,472) and 745,000 pesos (around $38,662), respectively. 

Early buyers can choose from nine exterior paint colors at no extra cost, including premium options. For 40,000 pesos (around $2,0750), customers can even create a custom paint color during this exclusive pre-order period. Interested buyers can secure their VF 3 with a refundable 5,000-peso ($260) deposit through VinFast’s website or authorized dealerships.

In addition to attractive pricing, VinFast is introducing flexible battery subscription plans starting at just 2,800 pesos (around $2,059) per month. This innovative approach allows buyers to optimize costs based on their driving needs.

The VF 3 is designed to navigate urban environments with ease, containing compact dimensions of 3,190 x 1,679 x 1,622 mm and a wheelbase of 2,075 mm. With a ground clearance of 191 mm and 16-inch wheels, the VF 3 offers enhanced versatility for city driving. 

Despite its small size, the VF 3 does not compromise on performance. It is equipped with a 32 kW electric motor delivering 110 Nm of torque, powered by an 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery. This combination provides a range of up to 210 km (130 miles) on a full charge, with fast charging capability from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes.

For the interior, the VF 3 caters to the needs of urban drivers with a range of modern features. It offers seating for four passengers, with foldable rear seats that can expand the cargo space up to 285 liters. A 10-inch infotainment screen enhances the driving experience, while essential safety and driver-assist technologies ensure a smooth ride, even for first-time drivers.

VinFast is backing the VF 3 with industry-leading warranties and support. This includes a 7-year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year unlimited mileage battery warranty for those who purchase the battery. Buyers opting for the battery subscription will benefit from free maintenance and battery replacement if the capacity drops below 70%. Every VF 3 also comes with a portable charger, providing peace of mind for owners.
