The announcement coming from Tesla’s X account, the post shows the new sport seats in a short video showcasing them in the Model S Plaid. With a price of $90,000 for the Tesla Model S Plaid, these new sport seats offer several new features for your comfort. These features include increased lateral support, a new modular design, 12-way power with heating and ventilation, and high-performance suede for grip and weight reduction. As a result of these newly added features of the sport seats, your chances of sliding around as you hit those high corners will not happen.

Moreover, these sport seats are covered in what Tesla calls “high-performance suede” that not only grips you tighter but also reduces the weight of the EV itself, promising a makeover that mixes comfort and high-performance aspects.

Tesla’s Model S Plaid is now the first to receive new sport seats before the Model 3 as it was shown around last year it was expected to get new sport seats. Furthermore, the company has confirmed that the new sport seats are standard in every Model S Plaid and have been installed on all Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid vehicles delivered since April 1. With this new installation, you can expect these sport seats if you buy a Model S Plaid this month.
