Lynk & Co, the joint venture between Geely Auto and Volvo Cars, has officially launched its first all-electric vehicle (EV), the Z10 sedan, in the Chinese market.

According to Lynk & Co, the Z10 is offered in five trims, with prices starting at 202,800 yuan (around $28,600), significantly undercutting its cousin, the ZEEKR 001, by about 62,200 yuan ($8,800). The lineup includes models ranging from the 400V 602km RWD Pro at 196,800 yuan ($27,800) to the top-tier 800V 702km AWD Smart Ultra at 288,800 yuan ($40,730).

To sweeten the deal, Lynk & Co is offering an additional limited-time discount of 6,000 yuan ($762) for purchases made before October 31, making the entry price even more attractive at 196,800 yuan.

Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, shared with the Zeekr 001, the Z10 offers both 400V and 800V configurations, powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries supplied by Geely’s subsidiary Jidian. The base model features a 200 kW rear-wheel-drive (RWD) motor and a 71 kWh battery, providing a CLTC range of 602 km. Higher-end trims come equipped with a 95 kWh battery, offering up to 806 km of CLTC range.

Moreover, the flagship model, featuring dual motors (310 kW rear and 270 kW front), can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and is capable of adding 573 km of range in 15 minutes using its 800V fast-charging system.

Design-wise, the Z10 arrives in a sporty look with split LED daytime running lights and a continuous LED light strip at the rear. Its coupe-like silhouette results in a drag coefficient of 0.198 Cd. Measuring 5,028 mm in length, 1,966 mm in width, and 1,468 mm in height, with a 3,005 mm wheelbase, the Z10 fits comfortably into the mid-to-large sedan category. Buyers can choose from a range of colors including silver, red, blue, grey, and black.

The Z10 stands out in the market with its advanced technology features. It is the first Chinese production vehicle to incorporate an AMD V2000A chip, offering 1.8 times the computing power of the widely used Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295. This powerful chip drives the 12.3:1 digital instrument panel, a 15.4-inch floating multimedia display, and AR-HUD. The EV also supports Flyme Link for seamless smartphone integration and offers Co Pad functionality, allowing rear-seat passengers to control in-car functions and access entertainment through a tablet.

In addition, the Z10 possess Harman Kardon sound system, which includes 23 speakers and a 1,600W amplifier. For those interested in autonomous driving, the top configuration comes equipped with 30 high-performance sensors and uses the Lotus Robotics system. This system has been validated in 30 countries and supports up to 33 driver assistance functions, with Highway NOA available at launch and urban NOA coming through future OTA updates.
