Audi of America has announced its latest addition to the electric vehicle (EV) market by introducing the 2025 Q6 e-tron model line. This new range of electric SUVs enhances Audi’s EV lineup by offering advanced technology, exceptional range, and competitive pricing.
According to Audi, the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron comes with a starting MSRP of $63,800 and offers three distinct variants: the Q6 e-tron RWD, Q6 e-tron quattro, and the high-performance SQ6 e-tron. One of the highlights of the lineup is the new rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model, which delivers an EPA-estimated range of 321 miles.
Built on Audi’s cutting-edge Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the Q6 e-tron features an 800-volt battery system that supports DC fast-charging speeds of up to 270 kW. In addition, the Q6 e-tron is equipped with Audi’s advanced E3 1.2 electronic architecture, which integrates enhanced safety features and the latest technology to deliver a modern and secure driving experience.
The Q6 e-tron lineup provides a range of powertrain options to suit different driving needs. The Q6 e-tron RWD produces 302 horsepower (boosting to 322 hp with launch control). It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 130 mph and an EPA-estimated range of 321 miles. As for the Q6 e-tron quattro, this EV model offers increased power, delivering 422 horsepower (up to 456 horsepower with launch control) and reaching 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds, with an estimated range of 307 miles.
For those seeking higher performance, the SQ6 e-tron delivers 483 horsepower (or 509 hp with launch control), hitting 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and achieving a top speed of 143 mph with an EPA-estimated range of 275 miles. All models feature a 100-kWh 800-volt battery pack, allowing for rapid charging from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
The 2024 Audi Q6 e-tron showcases Audi’s latest innovations in interior technology and driver assistance systems. The new Digital Stage interior is highlighted by an 11.9-inch Audi OLED virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch center touch OLED display, providing drivers with an immersive, high-tech interface. Additionally, there is an optional 10.9-inch MMI passenger display for added convenience and functionality.
Powered by the E3 1.2 electronic architecture, the Q6 e-tron is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which include adaptive cruise control, lane change warning, and traffic sign recognition, enhancing both safety and driving ease. This combination of innovative features ensures a smooth, tech-forward experience for both drivers and passengers alike.
At the front, the Q6 e-tron features Audi’s recognizable closed Singleframe grille, available in either selenite silver or gloss black, giving the car a modern, electric-focused identity. One of the model’s most striking features is the new quad headlight design, a first for any Audi vehicle. Paired with high-positioned digital daytime running lights, these distinctive lights give the Q6 e-tron a fresh, independent look.
The Q6 e-tron slots between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron models, measuring 187.8 inches in length with a wheelbase of 113.7 inches. It offers a spacious interior with 38.5 inches of front headroom and up to 60.2 cubic feet of storage space with the rear seats folded.
Moreover, the interior’s high-quality materials and three-dimensional design elements create a warm and ergonomic environment, while the contrast between soft, comfort-oriented areas and sleek, high-gloss control surfaces ensures a luxurious and user-friendly experience.
With the introduction of the Q6 e-tron, Audi expands its BEV offerings to 11 distinct models across four e-tron lines. This launch marks the beginning of Audi’s ambitious plan to introduce more than 20 all-new or significantly updated models over the next two years globally, with half being electrified.
Deliveries of the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron, Q6 e-tron quattro, and SQ6 e-tron are set to begin before the end of 2024, with pricing starting at $63,800 for the RWD Q6 e-tron. For the Q6 e-tron quattro, it starts at $65,800. In regards of the top trim, the SQ6 e-tron starts at $72,600.
As the 2025 Q6 e-tron represents another step forward in Audi’s EV journey, its blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology in an EV will aim to set new standards in the premium electric SUV segment.
