Porsche Cars Canada has unveiled its latest offering in the electric vehicle (EV) market through a partnership with Electrify Canada to provide two years of complimentary charging for all new Macan Electric models.

The Macan Electric lineup begins with a starting price of CAD 94,900 (around $68,820) for the base model, with several higher-end variants available. The Macan 4 is priced at CAD 99,300 (around $72,000), followed by the Macan 4S at CAD 106,900 (around $77,520). The top-tier model, the Macan Turbo, is available for CAD 125,300 (around $90,860), offering customers a range of options to suit their preferences.

According to Electrify Canada, new Macan Electric owners in Canada will benefit from two years of complimentary 30-minute charging sessions at Electrify Canada stations. They will also have access to ultra-fast charging stations that offer up to 350 kW of power output. Charging is available at Electrify Canada’s highway and metro stations, as well as at many Porsche Centres, ensuring convenient access for drivers.

The Macan Electric features advanced charging technology with an 800-volt architecture that enables DC fast charging ofup to 270 kW. Under optimal conditions at suitable fast-charging stations, the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 21 minutes. 

Trevor Arthur, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, emphasized the car’s performance pedigree, stating, “Every Porsche is a sports car at its core, and the new Macan Electric is no exception.”

Electrify Canada is actively expanding its charging network across the country, with over 40 next-generation Hyper-Fast chargers being added. The coverage spans key provinces, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, with stations strategically placed along major highways and in key metro areas.

To make charging more user-friendly, Macan Electric owners can activate their charging benefits during vehicle delivery. Additionally, they can use the Porsche Charging Services app or the in-vehicle navigation system to easily locate available charging stations.
