Dodge Opens Orders for 2024 Charger Daytona With Exclusive “First Call” Package

With The R/T Starting At $59,995 And The Scat Pack At $73,190, Both EVs Qualify For The $7,500 EV Tax Credit

Dodge has officially started taking orders for its muscle electric vehicle (EV), the 2024 Charger Daytona, marking Dodge’s entry into the EV market while maintaining its reputation for high-performance muscle vehicles.

According to Stellantis, Dodge’s new Charger Daytona lineup includes two distinct models: the R/T and the Scat Pack. Pricing for the R/T starts at $59,995, while the Scat Pack is priced at $73,190. Both models are eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit. For early buyers, Dodge is offering an exclusive “First Call” package.

The Charger Daytona R/T delivers 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. It comes with a Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade, installed at the plant. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack, on the other hand, delivers 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, achieving 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and completing the quarter-mile in around 11.5 seconds.

Moreover, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack model features the Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade and Track Package, asserting its claim as “the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car.”

Buyers who place a sold order by October 31, 2024, will receive the exclusive “First Call” package. This includes a two-day performance driving instruction at the Radford Racing School in Chandler, Arizona, VIP concierge service to assist with inquiries and delivery, and a welcome kit featuring an official letter of authenticity and Dodge-branded leather driving gloves.

Matt McAlear, Dodge brand CEO at Stellantis, stated, “A new era of Dodge muscle has arrived. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries, and we know our customers are driven by performance.”

Notably, the company has also launched a new interactive Charger configurator on Dodge.com, offering a 360-degree immersive experience for customers to explore exterior colors, wheel options, interior themes, and key features.

Additional features include a choice of an at-home Level 2 charging station or $600 charge credits through Free2move Charge. Another features includes 3D animation in the configurator that allows users to virtually interact with the EV, including opening doors and turning on headlights

Blending its 110-year legacy of high-performance vehicles with advanced EV technology, Dodge aims to maintain its position as a leader in the muscle car segment while making an impact in the EV market.

The two-door coupe versions of the Charger Daytona R/T and Scat Pack are expected to begin arriving at Charger Daytona-certified dealerships in Q4 2024.
