Volkswagen is gearing up to make a big splash in the U.S. market with its latest offering: the 2025 Volkswagen ID.7. The model is set to hit U.S. shores in the third quarter of this year, promising to mix cutting-edge technology with luxurious comfort in an elegant electric vehicle (EV) sedan.

Pro S and Pro S Plus

Volkswagen is not holding back with the ID.7, presenting it in two different trims: the Pro S and Pro S Plus. Both trims will be available in either rear-wheel drive or 4MOTION all-wheel drive configurations, catering to a wide range of preferences. Both models come standard with an 82-kWh battery. Rear-wheel drive versions deliver 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque, while all-wheel drive configurations possess an impressive 335 horsepower.

The Pro S Plus variants are equipped with 20-inch wheels and include DCC adaptive damping alongside dynamic steering capabilities. Additionally, they boast Climatronic seats with an enhanced automatic heating and ventilation system, along with an upgraded massage feature. Moreover, the Pro S Plus trim offers a premium 700-watt Harman Kardon sound system comprising 14 speakers, inclusive of a front center speaker and a subwoofer mounted in the trunk.

With 19-inch wheels for the Pro S and 20-inch for the Pro S Plus, the EVs will contain illuminated logos as standard features. In addition, keyless access with proximity sensors and a power tailgate are also standard. Given its substantial size, the ID.7 is classified as a large sedan and offers adaptive dampers to ensure optimal handling.
