Audi has officially launched its A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron electric vehicle (EV) models in the United Kingdom (UK), available in both Sportback and Avant body styles with prices starting at £69,900 ($91,418) for the A6 Sportback e-tron performance and £97,500 ($127,515) for the S6 Sportback e-tron.

According to Audi, the A6 and S6 e-tron models deliver a 100 kWh battery with advanced 800-volt charging technology built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This allows for a DC charging capacity of up to 270 kW, enabling drivers to add 192 miles of range in just 10 minutes. The A6 Sportback e-tron performance leads the pack with an exceptional range of up to 463 miles, while the S6 models provide up to 405 miles for the Sportback and 388 miles for the Avant version.

For performance, the A6 e-tron delivers 380 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds. The more powerful S6 e-tron, featuring a dual-motor setup with quattro all-wheel drive (AWD), produces 550 horsepower and can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Notably, the A6 Sportback e-tron comes with a drag coefficient of 0.21, making it the most aerodynamic production Audi ever.

The design of the A6 and S6 e-tron models is both sleek and futuristic, featuring distinctive light elements that set them apart on the road. For the interior, there is an advanced interior with a 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit. The EV also comes equipped with an AI-supported Audi Assistant for voice control, over-the-air (OTA) update capability, and integration with the Audi app store.

Audi offers the A6 e-tron models in Sport, S line, and Edition 1 trims, catering to a range of preferences and budgets. The S6 e-tron variants, however, come exclusively in the enhanced Edition 1 specification, which includes features like adaptive air suspension, digital OLED rear lights with customizable signatures, a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system, and an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display.
